구약하면 모세가 떠오르고, 신약은 응당 예수 그리스도이다.

When we think of the Old Testament, Moses comes to mind, and the New Testament is Jesus Christ.

모세는 시내 산에서 하나님으로부터 십계명을 받았다.

Moses received the Ten Commandments from God on Mount Sinai.

그리고 모세오경을 썼다.

And he wrote the Pentateuch.

실상은 하나님께서 쓰게 하셨다.

In fact, God made it write.

그런데 흥미로운 부분이 있다.

But there is an interesting part.

모세는 ‘나귀’를 부정한 동물로 취급했다.

Moses treated the "donkey" as an unclean animal.

모세는 당연히 하나님께서 ‘나귀’를 부정한 동물로 여길 것이라고 확신했을 것이다.

Moses was surely convinced that God would view the “donkey” as an unclean animal.

그러나 신약으로 오신 예수님은 바로 그 ‘나귀’를 타고 이스라엘을 향해 입성했다.

However, Jesus, who came in the New Testament, entered Israel on the very “ass”.

하나님 되시는 예수님이 굳이 ‘나귀’를 타신 것은 ‘나귀’가 더 이상 부정하지 않다는 의미이다.

The fact that Jesus, who is God, rides on a “donkey” means that the “donkey” is no longer unclean.

구약에서의 모세의 율법은 어디까지나 구약에 한한 것이다.

The law of Mose in the Old Testament is limited to the Old Testament.

시대가 지나 예수님이 ‘더 이상 부정하지 않다’고 한 것은 깨끗한 것이다.

It is clean that Jesus said, “It is no longer unclean” after the ages.

예수님은 이렇듯 율법을 폐하려고 온 것이 아니라, 그릇된 율법을 완성하려고 오신 것이다.

Jesus did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill the wrong law.
