The statement by MOFAT spokesperson on the Current situation in Myanmar
On September 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/MOFAT offered an official statement on the current situation in Myanmar, in the name of spokesperson as follows
1. The Government of the Republic of Korea is deeply concerned about the current situation in Myanmar and the loss of civilian life in the process of continued protests, and calls upon the Government of Myanmar to exercise restraint in order to prevent the further aggravation of the situation.
2. The ROK Government strongly hopes that the Government and the people of Myanmar would work toward democratization and national development in a peaceful manner.

외교부는 오늘 미얀마 사태와 관련, 대변인 명의로 한국정부의 입장을 다음과 같은 성명으로 발표했다.
1. 정부는 최근 미얀마에서 계속되고 있는 시위로 인명이 희생되는 상황이 발생한데 대하여 심각한 우려를 표하며, 더 이상 상황이 악화되지 않도록 미얀마 정부의 자제를 요구하는 바입니다.
