About 90 India's government employees will visit Ministry of Administration and Home Affairs/MOGAHA on October 4 for benchmarking Korean government's internet based-administration system.

According to MOGAHA, their visiting is one of educational programs presided by KDI/Korea Development Institute, as well as Maxwell School of U.S Syracuse University.
'Indian administrative officials would understand what a key solution has been, regarding Korea's economical development, and find the way for mutual cooperation in the internet-based 'e' administrative field' said MOGAHA.

○ 인도의 중앙 및 지방정부 공무원 90여명으로 구성된 방문단이 4일 행정자치부(장관 박명재)를 방문하여 한국 전자정부의 구축경험과 성과를 벤치마킹할 예정이다.

○ 행자부에 따르면, 이번 방문단은 한국의 KDI 국제정책대학원과 미국 Syracuse 대학의 Maxwell School에서 공동주관하는 전문가 교육프로그램의 일환이라는 것. 행자부는 이번의 인도공무원 방문은 한국의 경제발전과정에 대한 이해를 제고하며, 한국과의 협력기반을 구축하기 위하여 10일간 일정으로 방한한 것이라 말했다.
- 특히, 행자부 방문은 세계 최고수준으로 인정받고 있는 한국의 전자정부와 관련하여 추진경험과 노하우를 벤치마킹하고 싶다는 인도측 요청에 의해서 이루어졌다는 후문.
