The writing contest for teenagers only with a subject of copyright, which presided by Ministry of Culture and Tourism/MCT, being held until the end of October.

According to MCT, this contest was offered for teenagers to recognize the importance of intellectual property by themselves, with participation of creating their own contents.

'This contest has three writing sessions such as for elementary, middle, and high school each, and being held through the web www.copyright.or.kr' said MCT.

'In addition we hope this opportunity will be very useful for all participants to find a key solution how be beautiful with contemporary age of Multi-Digital, and think more about what the copyright is' they added.

문화관광부(장관 김종민)와 저작권위원회(위원장 노태섭, 이하 위원회)는 21세기 문화산업의 주역인 청소년들에게 창작활동을 통하여 청소년 자신도 저작자임을 체험하게 하고, 생활 속에서 저작권 보호 및 올바른 저작권 의식을 제고할 수 있도록 하기 위해 『제3회 전국 청소년 저작권 글짓기 대회』를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

문광부에 의하면, 대상에 대통령상이 수여되는 이번 글짓기 대회는 초.중.고교별로 자유롭게 ‘저작권과 관련된 주제’로 글짓기 대회를 개최하고, 우수작품을 선정하여 오는 10월 30일까지 위원회로 제출하는 방식으로 진행된다는 것.

문화관광부는 “디지털.다매체 시대에 청소년들의 저작권 의식제고와 교육이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “이번 대회를 통해 청소년들이 창작의 가치와 저작권 보호의 중요성에 대해 진지하게 생각해 보는 계기가 되기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 당선작은 저작권위원회 홈페이지(www.copyright.or.kr)를 통해 오는 11월 하순에 발표된다고 문광부는 전했다.
