Australian astronomer Renéke used a complex astronomical observation program

 to observe the night sky at the time of Jesus' birth.

그는 BC2년 6월17일 금성Venus과 목성Jupiter이 사자자리Leo를 가로지르며 겹쳐지는 '합' conjunction을 주목했다.

He noted the overlapping 'sum' between Venus and Jupiter crossing Leo on June

 17, BC2.

그 합을 이루면서 새벽 동쪽 하늘에 "빛의 봉화"beacon of light가 보였을 것이라고 설명했다.

He explained that the sum would have seen a "beacon of light" in the eastern sky 

at dawn.

이 같은 현상은 이미 여러 차례 알려져 왔고 더욱 발전된 연구 결과가 발표되기도 했다.

This phenomenon has already been known several times, and further research results

 have been published.

미국의 라슨은 신학자들이 예수를 잉태한 성모 마리아의 환상을 보여주는 것으로 해석하고 있는 "해를 입고 발아래 달을 두고 있는 여자"의 모습이 직접 하늘에 나타났다고 주장했다.

Larson of the United States claimed that the "woman in the sun and with the moon

 under her feet", which theologians interpret as showing the vision of the Virgin Mary, 

who conceived Jesus, appeared directly in the sky.
