The Ministry of Environment and others recently released data on air quality in
Asia observed from the geostationary orbit environmental satellite installed on
the Cheonlian 2B.

The released video is data on air pollutants such as fine dust, nitrogen dioxide NO2,
sulfur dioxide SO2, and ozone O3 from all over Asia observed by
geostationary environmental satellites during the test operation period.
°ø°³µÈ ¿µ»óÀº ½ÃÇè¿îÇà ±â°£ Áß Á¤Áö±Ëµµ ȯ°æÀ§¼ºÀÌ °üÃøÇÑ ¾Æ½Ã¾Æ Àü¿ªÀÇ ¹Ì¼¼¸ÕÁö,
ÀÌ»êÈÁú¼Ò NO2, ¾ÆȲ»ê°¡½º SO2, ¿ÀÁ¸ O3 µîÀÇ ´ë±â¿À¿°¹°Áú ÀÚ·áÀÌ´Ù.
Nitrogen dioxide is a toxic reddish brown gas.
ÀÌ»êÈÁú¼Ò´Â µ¶¼ºÀÌ ÀÖ´Â Àû°¥»öÀÇ ±âüÀÌ´Ù.
Sulfur dioxide is a toxic gas that has no color and has an irritating odor.
¾ÆȲ»ê°¡½º´Â »ö±òÀÌ ¾øÀ¸¸ç ÀÚ±ØÀûÀÎ ³¿»õ°¡ ³ª´Â À¯µ¶¼º ±âüÀÌ´Ù.
If sulfur dioxide in the air is higher than the standard, eye irritation or respiratory
disease may occur.
°ø±â Áß¿¡ ÀÌ»êÈȲÀÌ ±âÁØÄ¡º¸´Ù ³ôÀ¸¸é ´«¿¡ ¿°ÁõÀÌ »ý±â°Å³ª È£Èí±â ÁúȯÀÌ ÀϾÙ.
Ozone has a strong oxidizing power.

It forms an ozone layer in the Earth's atmosphere and acts as a protective film.
Áö±¸ ´ë±â Áß¿¡ ¿ÀÁ¸ÃþÀ» Çü¼ºÇÏ¿© º¸È£¸·ÀÇ ¿ªÇÒÀ» ÇÑ´Ù.
However, ozone produced on the surface is a harmful air pollutant.
